Bright has empowered many local communities with his commitment to health issues such as HIV/AIDS. Bright holds high authority as the Regional Chairman and National Board Trustee of Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health-Central Region. Bright’s exposure to the work of NGOs is invaluable, having been Executive Director of HERO Network, and Deputy Secretary of Coalition of Agona District NGOs (CANGO). As a HIV/AIDS counselor, Bright has conducted fora campaigns and workshops (including national stigma reduction training) to 30 communities and 25 Junior and Secondary Schools in Gomoa and Agona. An educated graduate from the University of Ghana, Bright has organized community forums using the Community Capacity Enhancement (CCE) Training Team. He brings training skills to Patriots Ghana; as a peer educator to over 1500 school teachers on integration of health into the education curriculum. He has among important work experience in the Education sector, as headmaster in three schools. Bright has furthermore been a Research Partner on the performance of NHIS and infant and maternal mortality issues.
One of Patriots Ghana’s primary goals is to promote volunteering through cultural exchange where Ghanaians and Foreign nationals (international volunteers/interns) can take part in Patriots Nationwide volunteer and internship projects to cause development in Ghanaian communities as well as create an opportunity for learning, sharing and developing capacities of volunteers & Interns.Join Our Team
