Vivian Nana Ama Acheampong the Women and Youth Empowerment Advocate of Patriots Ghana. She is a dedicated philanthropist and social commentator, passionately advocating for girl child education and women’s empowerment. Currently, she serves as the Community Outreach and Advocacy Officer at the Coastal Development Authority, a Ghana Government agency tasked with implementing pro-poor initiatives through the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Program.

Vivian’s commitment to improving the lives of women, children, and youth, as well as enhancing social conditions in her community and country, has been a driving force in her work for many years. While at the University of Cape Coast, she co-founded the Patriots Ghana Chapter alongside two other committed students. Their mission was to promote selfless leadership and volunteerism by engaging students in rural community development initiatives.

Vivian holds a Master’s degree in International Relations with a focus on diplomacy, African security, and unity. A proud Africanist, she firmly believes that Africa’s prosperity can only be achieved through unity. She also holds a degree in Communication Studies from the University of Cape Coast.

In 2018, Vivian led a team to conduct a crucial needs assessment in the Central Region of Ghana. The findings from this assessment laid the foundation for the implementation of the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Program, which significantly transformed the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations in the region. As part of her philanthropic efforts, she championed the ONE GIRL FOR SCHOOL initiative, which provided educational support to girls whose parents could not afford their education.

Vivian’s work reflects her unwavering dedication to empowering women and youth, and her belief in the power of education and unity to drive meaningful change in Ghana and Africa.
